Mission

Be Fearless in the pursuit of what makes your soul be on fire 🔥

Hypnosis, also known as hypnotherapy, is a state of altered awareness and deep relaxation that enhances focus and concentration. Typically guided by a healthcare provider using verbal repetition and mental imagery, hypnosis helps individuals feel calm and relaxed. This state often makes people more receptive to suggestions for behavioral changes. Hypnosis can be a useful tool for gaining control over behaviors you wish to change and for managing anxiety, depression, stress, pain, weight management, smoking cessation and much more. While you become more open to suggestions during hypnosis, you remain in control of your actions throughout the session because we are working with the subconscious part of your brain.

What are some myths about hypnosis?

Myth: Hypnosis isn’t real?

It’s a form of entertainment. Hypnosis is not a stage performance or a magical trick. Clinical hypnosis is a form of medical therapy frequently integrated into treatment plans alongside conventional medical methods.

Myth: You lose control when you’re hypnotized?

NO: Most people remember everything that happens during hypnosis. You are fully aware of who you are, where you are and remember what happened during a hypnosis session depending on what the subconscious part of your brain wants you to remember.

Myth: You’re under the control of your hypnotherapist when you’re hypnotized.

The hypnotherapist guides the client, but hypnosis is something you do for yourself. You can’t be made to do anything against your will. You won’t reveal any information that you wished to remain secret. You don’t lose control over your behavior. Hypnosis makes it easier to experience suggestions but doesn’t force you to have certain experiences.

Myth: Hypnosis is a deep sleep.

Hypnosis isn’t sleeping. There are some deeper forms of hypnosis that could make you appear to be asleep because your body is very still and quiet, but you aren’t asleep, you are in a deeper state of relaxation and meditation.
